






HCC (in cooperation with the Grand Old Day in Hadley) hosted a CARS and QUILTS show on Saturday, August 9. Over 100 quilts and more than 20 cars were on display.

HCC’s Homeland Ministry Committee hosted a LEGO BUILDING EVENT. This fun and creative activity featured a Lego structure building competitions. Participants were encouraged to make a scene from the Bible or a church. Popular themes included: the Garden of Eden, Noah’s Ark, and the Empty Tomb. Pastor Matthew offered a devotion based on Matthew 7 (The Wise and Foolish Builders) and banana splits were served. We thank the HMC for sponsoring this event.

HCC hosted its July book club on Thursday, July 24. The book discussed was Four Cars. One Road. by Brady Cook (an evangelist from Texas). The group enjoyed a potluck meal and a good conversation around the retelling of Jesus’ Parable of the Good Samaritan. Copies are available in the office if you would like to read the book.
