HCC took a trip to visit the beautifully decorated mansion that was once owned by Matilda Dodge Watson. This 88,000 square foot home has 110 rooms. The decorations emphasized the travels of Mrs. Watson and her family.

Following the concert by the Sojourner Quarter – the Homeland Ministry Committee of HCC hosted an afterglow with dozens of delicious treats!

The concert concluded with the congregation praising God in a chorus of “How Great Thou Art”!

The Sojourner Quartet visited HCC to minister through word and music of the truth of Christmas.

Dozens of members and friends of HCC braved the winter weather to attend an exclusive showing of “SARAH’S OIL” – a movie about Sarah Rector. The movie was inspiring and challenging. Door prizes (various boxes of delicious candies) were awarded to six people!

Thank you to the many people that baked, packaged, decorated, and distributed our YOUNG AT HEART COOKIE PLATES. Dozens of plates were made this year!!

Pastor Matthew and Danielle want to thank the congregation of Hadley Community Church again for their very kind, thoughtful, and generous PASTOR APPRECIATION GIFT. They used the GIFT CARD for Bavarian Inn on Thursday night and Friday night. While there, they had delicious food and visited many unique stores. They also brought back FOUR items that were given away in a drawing at the beginning of the Worship Service on December 7.

Pastor Matthew and Danielle shared a small Christmas gift with each one in the morning service of December 7. The golden gift included a chocolate truffle, a jar of jam, a Christmas tea sachet, and a wooden bookmark with a Cross and the word “Believe”.

During the AM service on December 7, Arnie Braun and Daniel Crawford sang “When a Child is Born”.

Our missions partners, Michael and Sherri Carlson (serving in Milan, Italy), and members of their small group send a Christmas greeting to Hadley Community Church.
