Thinking of visiting our church? This section is to give you an idea of who we are and to help make your visit with us a pleasant experience.
Choosing a home church is an important decision which can be difficult. If you are looking for a place to develop friendships and relationships with Bible based messages addressing the issues relevant to today’s concerns in your life and looking for a church that has ministries for everyone in your family, Hadley Community Church can fulfill those needs.
At Hadley Community Church we offer various opportunities for you to fellowship and worship. We have Sunday School classes for of all ages (child – adult). The Youth Group (CYF) meet Sunday evenings from 6:30-8:00 pm. Men’s Breakfast & Bible Study meet every other Saturday at 8:30 am, and Ladies Fellowship & Bible Study meet every Wednesday at 10:00 am . Seniors have the Young @ Heart group which meet the second Tuesday of each month at noon. A midweek ladies Bible study (during the school year) meets at 10:00am on Wednesday. Also, Wednesday evening at 7:00pm, a Bible study and prayer meeting is held.
The Morning Worship Service begins at 10:00 am and the evening at 6:00 pm. Ushers are available to assist you should you have any questions or special needs regarding seating or other general questions, and can direct you to the available Sunday morning bible study classes.
A safe and comfortable nursery is provided so parents can attend both, a bible study and the worship service. But if you prefer you are more than welcome to keep your children with you during the morning service.
Our members attend wearing business-casual attire. You will also see men in suits and ties, as well as some people wearing jeans. God sees and cares about our heart; it’s not about the style of clothing we wear.
The music we sing is a blend of doctrinally rich traditional hymns, conservative hymns, and contemporary songs of praise.
Our typical worship service begins with a call to worship Scripture reading, a traditional hymn, an opening prayer, some announcements, then more singing, Scripture reading or occasionally a responsive reading, the weekly offering and doxology, special music, a sermon from Pastor Coleman, followed by an invitation, a closing hymn or song of praise and prayer.
