HCC’s College Group traveled to Flint to watch NOAH – LIVE. This was a presentation by the Sound and Light Theater in Pennsylvania. The musical-theater program featured hundreds of performers retelling the story of Noah.

HCC took a second trip to Top Golf in Auburn Hills, MI. On September 20, Sharon Miller showed the group how to play the games by winning the first one!

The Wednesday Morning Ladies Bible Study returned for the 2025-2026 season. The group (led by Connie Reynolds) is discussing a book based on Hebrews 11. The group meets every Wednesday at 10 AM.

HCC’s Ladies Fellowship met on Thursday, September 18. The group works to encourage each other and the congregation. Their project for September is to collect SNACK items for HCC’s Good News Club at Murphy Elementary School

HCC hosted its THIRD ANNUAL TWO HAVE BECOME ONE AGAIN LUAU. This is a support group for widows and widowers. The event featured a “Hula” dance (performed by Pastor Matthew, Abby Overmyer, and Danielle Overmyer) and a Hula Hoop demonstration and lesson by Carol Witulski.

The Sunday before Labor Day, HCC hosted a potluck and outdoor service. Dozens attended the service on a beautiful summer night!

The HCC Book Club met to discuss STARTER SEEDS by Brady Cook. This book is a retelling of the Parable of the Sower. The story focuses on Brian (a delivery man) and his interactions with different people who have to work through challenges in their lives (both personal and professional).

15 people went to Top Golf in Auburn Hills. Everyone had fun as they played different games at the unique driving range.

Some of HCC’s youth played pickleball in Hadley’s recently updated Marston Park.
