“Spy” Wednesday or “Holy” Wednesday reflects on the decision that Judas made to betray Jesus. The congregation of HCC united on Spy Wednesday, April 16. The program featured a darkened room and a remembrance of the acts of Judas. The congregation was challenged to consider the choices that they make.
HCC hosted an EASTER EGGSTRAVAGANZA event that features EGG coloring, an EGG-themed craft, EGG snacks, an EGG hunt, an EGG-themed game, and a lesson that utilized Resurrection Eggs (which tell the story of Jesus’ death, burial, and resurrection). HCC is thankful for the many families that participated and the many that helped make this event possible.
HCC’s Widow and Widower Group attended the Comedy Night event at the Pix Theater. The event featured three comedians.
Once again, Hadley Community Church invited the community to attend its monthly YOUNG AT HEART LUNCH. The meal featured delicious ham, cheesy potatoes, glazed carrots, and pea salad. The program featured Brenda Reamer (President of the Hadley Historic Society) and Elyse Lewis (Archivist of the Hadley Historic Society).
HCC is excited to welcome Dr. Robert Carter from Creation Ministries International. This special event will take place on May 4, 2025 during the evening service at 6 PM. An afterglow with desserts will occur following the presentation.
HCC hosted a SPRING CRAFT NIGHT on April 1. More than 20 ladies attended. Each was able to make a decorated flower pot that expressed their own personality and flare.
HCC is looking forward to our summer 2025, Vacation Bible School. The committee met on Sunday, May 31 to start planning! This year’s VBS will take place from July 14-18. REGISTRATION is open now – HCC VBS REGISTRATION
HCC-led Good News Club at Murphy Elementary School concluded its program for this school year. We were blessed to see the children learning Bible verses and stories, making decisions, and growing in the Lord. Thanks to all those that helped throughout the six month program!

HCC congratulates all those that participated in its THIRD ANNUAL GRAND PRIX. 24 competitors came with cars of amazing design. The winners of the event (in speed) were: Kody Walton (1st); Glenn Walton (2nd); Daniel Crawford (3rd). The winners for design were: Gary Reamer (1st); Brenda Reamer (2nd); and Jay TenBrink (3rd). We thank our Ladies Fellowship group for sponsoring the event as well as the many, many people that assisted!!
