The ladies of Hadley Community Church met on Thursday, Nov. 20. The meeting focused on plans to be a blessing to others in December. There was also a time for crafting. The group made rustic Christmas tree decorations.
Each year, HCC’s congregation donate items to be combined to create Christmas Shoeboxes as part of the Samaritan’s Purse project “Operation Christmas Child”. This effort produced more than 100 boxes that will be sent to children as an expression of the love of Christ. Thanks to all those that made the boxes, pact the boxes, and delivered the boxes.
HCC’s monthly YOUNG AT HEART luncheon was really special. Elaine Copeman (member of HCC) shared about her recently opened “LITTLE ART BARN GALLERY AND GIFTS” shop in Hadley. The delicious meal served featured ham!
More than 40 people attended HCC’s Fall Movie Night. The event was a time of great fellowship and inspiration!
More than 300 children visited HCC’s Trunk or Treat event. Hot dogs, chips, and water were served (along with handfuls of candy). Each child received a Gospel tracts and special copy of the Gospel of John!
As an expression of their appreciation, Pastor Matthew and Danielle hosted “PIE WITH THE PASTOR”. This afterglow took place after the evening services. Together, Pastor Matthew and Danielle made 10 different pies.
Some of HCC’s youth shared “TREATS” with the congregation as the assembly exited services on Sunday, October 27.
Several members and friends of HCC visited the Country View Bulk Food Store. This event is a time of fellowship (and shopping).
Each year, HCC celebrates the bounty that God has given. Thanks to all those that attended.
