July 29 – the HCC Movie Club met to watch “Disciples in the Moonlight”. This independently produced film presented what life in America might be like if the Holy Bible was made illegal. This two hour movie followed the lives of seven Disciples of Christ who sought to smuggle the Bible to underground churches.
HCC Book Club
July 25 – Members of the HCC Book Club met on Thursday evening for a time of fellowship and to discuss the selected book. “I’ll Always Wait”, written by Brady Cook, was a retelling of the Biblical parable of the Prodigal Son. This was the second book in Cook’s Parable Series. The Book Club will meet again in September.

July 15-19 – Once again, HCC hosted its annual Vacation Bible School outreach. The five day event featured welcomed 44 students (3 years – 6th grade) – 35 teachers/helpers – 7 college students/chaperones – 5 mothers + 3 babies. The program explored several important historical events that have shaped human history – CREATION; CORRUPTION; CATASTROPHE; CONFUSION; CHRIST; CROSS; CONSUMMATION. The Answers in Genesis program was a great success.
