Pineapple Upside Down Cake was served during our Christmas study, “HOW GOD TURNED EVERYTHING UPSIDE DOWN!”

Pastor Matthew visited the college group and posed with Abby and Danielle (and a few other choir members). We are thankful for the group (as well as Connor and Libby Cochran who lead the group).

Many of Hadley’s citizens united for the annual lighting of the Old Hadley Twp Hall Christmas Tree and the lighting of the Bridge at the Mill.

During the snowy morning of November 30 – HCC was blessed with some special elements in our worship service.

After receiving several inches of snow on Saturday afternoon and evening (along with Sunday morning) – a nice sized group still showed up for Sunday School (at 9AM) and Worship (at 10AM). They kicked off the Christmas Season (Advent) by wearing BLUE – a color that symbolized HOPE.

Thank you to those creative people that took the time to decorate the church building for Christmas.

November’s Second Half Trip was a journey to Stahl’s Motors and Music Experience.

A highlight of the HCC calendar, the Sunday evening before Thanksgiving finds members of the congregation uniting for a time of fellowship. This annual event (Soup, Sandwich, and Scripture) features a variety of delicious soups, sandwiches, and desserts. But, it also takes time to reflect and give thanks to God.

The ladies of Hadley Community Church met on Thursday, Nov. 20. The meeting focused on plans to be a blessing to others in December. There was also a time for crafting. The group made rustic Christmas tree decorations.
