HCC welcomed Melissa Crawford (missionary to the Philippines) on Sunday, May 18. Melissa shared during the Sunday school and Worship Service. She also shared lunch with and met with the HCC mission committee. Melissa works with Global Surge as a Sports and Marketing Director.
HCC hosted a LADIES LUNCHEON. This event featured a presentation by Melissa Crawford (missionary to the Philippines).
HCC’s monthly community lunch featured a look back at the Civil War. Dennis Emery presented a discussion of the Andersonville Prison Camp.
Mother’s Day often focuses on the moms in our lives. But God has gifted us with many multi-talented women (sisters, mothers, daughters, grandmothers, nieces, aunts, friends, neighbors, and co-workers). We celebrate all the women – past and present – who have blessed us!
The ladies of HCC met for their monthly fellowship meeting. Brenda Reamer (pictured on the right) shared a devotion on mothers. Donna Craner (pictured in the center – in blue) received a prayer quilt as she is beginning treatment for cancer.
HCC is filled with people that give of their time and talents.
HCC hosted Dr. Robert Carter from Creation Ministries International. His presentation offered encouragement and evidence that shows the Bible’s account of Creation is true.
HCC members attended the annual CEF (Child Evangelism Fellowship) Banquet in North Branch. This two hour event featured a wonderful meal and a program with speaker, Jon Frazier (HCC’s missionary to Dearborn).
HCC joined other believers from Lapeer County for the annual NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER. This hour long event was uplifting and encouraging. It featured pastors, dignitaries, and others offering thoughts and prayers for our nation, community, and the church.
Several members and friends of HCC attended the Garden Party at WOJO’s. This group was able to tour the areas “behind the scenes” at the Ortonville location of this popular nursery and garden center.
