HCC Book Club

July 25 – Members of the HCC Book Club met on Thursday evening for a time of fellowship and to discuss the selected book. “I’ll Always Wait”, written by Brady Cook, was a retelling of the Biblical parable of the Prodigal Son. This was the second book in Cook’s Parable Series. The Book Club will meet again in September.

VBS 2024

July 15-19 – Once again, HCC hosted its annual Vacation Bible School outreach. The five day event featured welcomed 44 students (3 years – 6th grade) – 35 teachers/helpers – 7 college students/chaperones – 5 mothers + 3 babies. The program explored several important historical events that have shaped human history – CREATION; CORRUPTION; CATASTROPHE; CONFUSION; CHRIST; CROSS; CONSUMMATION. The Answers in Genesis program was a great success.

HCC on Parade

July 4 – To promote HCC and its upcoming VBS – several members of the youth joined the annual Independence Day Parade. More than 3000 pieces of candy – hundreds of gummy frogs – invitations for VBS – and confetti cannons made the event a great success!

Youth Host Ice Cream Social

HCC Youth hosted an Ice Cream social following the evening service on June 30. Vanilla, Chocolate, Moose Tracks, and three flavors of sherbet were served along with numerous toppings. The congregation was appreciative of this summer treat (despite cooler temperatures).

Father’s Day at HCC

At HCC, we realize the important role that godly men have in our homes, church, and community. On Father’s Day, each man is honored. As part of the service, Jordan and Lucas shared a poem as a tribute.
