May’s Young At Heart Luncheon will feature a presentation by Andrea Henderson. She is the director of The Refuge of Lapeer. This organization seeks to assist those who find themselves displaced or homeless.

Hadley Community Church is pleased to welcome Tony Evans, director of Mission Voice Network’s India Ministries. Mr. Evans will share about the ministry during Sunday school (9AM) as well as in the worship service (10 AM).

For two years, HCC has been blessed by the selfless service of our office coordinator, Sharon Frisch. She and her family have allowed God to use their gifts to benefit the congregation of HCC as well as the community of Hadley. As we celebrate “Administrative Professionals’ Day” – we acknowledge the many ways that Sharon has epitomized professionalism. But we celebrate even more the way she has served as an example of Christ and His unconditional love for all.

HCC united on Saturday, April 20 for a time of fellowship, food, and faith. HCC’s GAME SHOW NIGHT challenged participants with Bible versions of five of our favorite Game Shows, including: Let’s Make a Deal; Wheel of Fortune; Match Game; Family Feud; and Jeopardy. The winning team was SOLOMON’S SCHOLARS!

The April Young at Heart Luncheon featured a delicious ham lunch. The highlight, however, was a presentation by Dzvinka Hayda. Mrs. Hayda is a gifted author, illustrator, and storyteller. During the program, she shared about the Easter traditions of Ukraine. She presented HCC a copy of one of her books, Dzvinya’s Gift for Mama.

Glenn and Cheryl Walton hosted “Dine with a Deacon” on April 6 at HCC. This event provided an opportunity for church members and attenders to learn about their designated deacon. Glenn shared about his personal history and philosophy.

April 5, 2024 – Dave and Sue Harrington opened their home to some of the youth as they hosted a game night. The evening featured a wonderful time of fellowship over a meal. The group also played several games as they got to know each other better. The Harringtons are helping (along with many others) to minister to the HCC Youth Group.

Tuesday, April 9 at noon – HCC is pleased to welcome Dzinka Hayda, a talented illustrator, author, and story-teller, as our guest speaker for the Young at Heart luncheon. This free event is open to those that are 50+ and it includes a delicious meal.

Saturday, April 20 at 6:30pm – HCC is hosting a GAME SHOW NIGHT. This fellowship event will feature Bible-themed versions of our favorite Game Shows. Bring a snack to share!!!

Saturday, May 18 at noon – HCC is hosting a LADIES TEA. We invite you to join us for an encouraging time of fellowship, some delicious treats, and an inspiring program from Judith Eick.

The Third Annual Hadley Grand Prix is coming soon to HCC. This fun-filled, action-packed event is for the whole family. More information is coming soon!
