Soup, Sandwich, and Scripture – 2023

In recognition of Thanksgiving, HCC hosted its annual Soup, Sandwich, and Scripture event. This fellowship event provides opportunity to grow relationships. It featured delicious food and some fun games. Gaye TenBrink won the “Price is Right Game”. Julie Braun won the Bible Sword Drill game. Robert Hartwig won the Sweet Potato Golf Game. Glenn Walton won the “Guess How Many Cranberries Game!”

149 Boxes…

Friends and members of HCC packed 149 boxes for the Samaritan’s Purse Operation Christmas Child shoebox project. Thank you to all that donated items, money toward shipping, and time to pack the boxes.

Youth Visit Davison Nursing Home

Some of the members of the HCC Youth Group joined Youth Pastor Tatro as he ministered to a local nursing home. The event provided the youth with an opportunity to serve through music, games, and fellowship. Youth Pastor Tatro presented a message to those in attendance.

Trunk or Treat at HCC

HCC hosted their annual Trunk or Treat event. More than 300 youth and their families participated. The event featured FREE hot dogs and chips. The surprise of the night came with the fall’s first snowfall!

Thankful for Our Pastors

HCC is thankful for the pastors (current and former) that minister to our congregation. The church presented tokens of appreciation to Pastor Matthew, Youth Pastor Thomas, and Pastor Bruce (who served HCC in the early 1980s and continues to bless the congregation).

October is Pastor Appreciation Month

During the month of October, Pastor Matthew and his family showed their appreciation for Hadley Community Church. They provided donuts for Sunday school, pie for Sunday evening, pizza and ice cream for Wednesday night, a meal for Ladies Fellowship, and quick breads as well as candy for Sunday morning. These small treats were given to show that the Colemans are grateful to the congregation for their faithfulness.
