Annual Meeting – Feb. 5, 2024
Hadley Community Church met on Monday, February 5, 2024 at 7 PM for the ANNUAL MEETING. This meeting was an encouraging time to reflect on what God has accomplished throughout the past year. It also helped to focus the congregation’s attention on 2024. We invite you to watch “A Year in Pictures: 2023”.
New Mid-Week Study Begins
Beginning Wednesday, January 31 – HCC will explore the differences between two important doctrines – salvation and discipleship. Join us for an informative discussion – every Wednesday at 7 PM!
Youth Bowling Trip
Pastor Thomas and Flo Tatro (along with Danielle Coleman and Corrina Overmyer) had fun with some of the HCC youth during the Detroit Lion’s game on Sunday, January 28, 2024.
HCC VISITS SNOWFEST
A group from Hadley Community Church visited the annual Frankenmuth SnowFest on Thursday, January 25, 2024. The trip included a great meal (and greater fellowship) at Bavarian Inn Restaurant as well as an opportunity to explore the progress being made with the snow and ice sculptures. Of course, the group found a few minutes to do some shopping too!
GAME NIGHT at HCC
HCC’s Two Have Become One Again group met for a Game Night on Friday, January 19, 2024. The night included a delicious pizza supper and lots of fun. Thanks to those that organized the event!
Visit from Missionaries – January 7, 2024
Hadley Community Church is happy to welcome Jon and Jayne Frazier. The Fraziers are fluent in Arabic and reside in the Dearborn, Michigan area where they have a ministry of outreach to the Islamic community. They will be joining us on Sunday, January 7 during the Sunday School and Morning Worship Time. We invite you to come, learn more about the work to which God has called them, and give them encouragement.
Christmas Concert at HCC
Hadley Community Church welcomed the Foresters on Sat., December 23 at 6 PM.
The Foresters are a family band in full time Gospel Music Ministry. Based in Nashville, TN, they travel all across the United States and Canada, as well as Europe, holding more than 130 concerts each year. They play a large variety of instruments including, Piano, Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin, Harmonica and Drums. They write much of the material they sing. They also sing many of the great old hymns and gospel songs of the church. Mark is also an ordained minister and holds revival and preaching services in addition to their concert ministry. The Foresters consist of: Mark (vocals, piano and guitars) , Andrea (lead vocals) , Tyler (age 18- drums and guitar) and Trevor (age 14 – vocals and bass guitar).
Christmas Fellowship
HCC’s Two Have Become One Again group united for a Christmas celebration at Whitey’s in Davison. Thank you to Cheryl Walton (co-chairperson of HCC’s Ladies Fellowship) for organizing this event.
